A Wisconsin judge has resigned after being convicted of obstructing a federal immigration arrest. Judge Hannah Dugan was found guilty on 19 December. The charge stemmed from her actions to help an immigrant evade officers from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Following her conviction, state Republicans called for her resignation. They threatened to impeach her if she did not step down. Dugan has now resigned from her position.
