King Charles has led public tributes to Holocaust survivor and educator Eva Schloss, who died at age 96. Schloss was the stepsister of diarist Anne Frank. Both were teenage victims of Nazi persecution, but only Schloss survived Auschwitz. The King met and danced with Schloss in 2022 during a visit to a London Jewish community center. In a statement, he said he and Queen Camilla "admired her deeply." He called himself "privileged and proud" to have known her. After the war, Schloss dedicated her life to sharing her story. She became a renowned public speaker and campaigner for Holocaust education worldwide. Her death was announced on Thursday.
