Protests have reached Iran's capital, Tehran, as nationwide unrest over economic and political issues enters a second week.
Local media reported sporadic demonstrations in Tehran on Saturday. At the same time, clashes intensified in western regions of the country.
The protests began last Sunday and have since spread across multiple cities. At least 12 people have been killed, including members of the security forces.
