Ohio Police Smash Sunroof, Drag Driver From Burning Wreck

Police in Ohio used a baton to smash a car's sunroof and pull an injured driver to safety seconds before the vehicle became engulfed in flames. The dramatic rescue followed a rollover crash that left the driver trapped inside. Recently released body camera footage shows officers rushing to the overturned, smoking car. With fire visible near the engine, an officer can be seen striking the sunroof repeatedly until the glass breaks. He then reaches inside, grabs the driver, and pulls the person out through the roof with the help of another officer. The rescued individual was moved a safe distance away just as flames fully consumed the car's interior. Police reported the driver was taken to a hospital for treatment.
