Russian Refineries Begin Failing From "Accumulated Stress"

A major fire at Russia's Saratov oil refinery did not start from a Ukrainian strike. Instead, it appears to have ignited due to the facility's own internal failures.
Industry analysts see this as a critical sign. Russia's energy system is becoming so degraded that it is now breaking down under accumulated stress. This "stress" is the result of nearly two years of Ukrainian drone attacks targeting refineries across the country.
The constant attacks have exhausted Russia's repair capacity. Specialized equipment and skilled workers are in short supply. Facilities like Saratov are being run harder and with delayed maintenance to meet demand.
The result is that refineries are beginning to fail on their own. This new phase threatens Russia's oil production capacity from within, beyond the direct damage caused by drones. The strain on the system is now causing independent breakdowns.
