Rep. Salazar Proposes Legal Status, Not Citizenship, for Undocumented Immigrants

Republican Representative María Salazar of Florida has proposed a new approach to U.S. immigration reform. In her new book, she argues that the primary goal should be to give undocumented workers legal status, not automatic citizenship. Salazar's book, titled "Dignity, Not Citizenship," suggests bringing these workers "out of the shadows."
