China's most important Communist Party journal has called for a powerful, immediate intervention to rescue the country's struggling property market.
In a new article, the theoretical journal *Qiushi* said policymakers must implement a strong package of measures "in one go." It criticized the current approach of taking smaller, "piecemeal-style steps" as insufficient.
The journal stated that stabilizing the property sector is urgent because it remains vital to China's domestic economy and overall consumer demand. It urged officials to take concrete action with policies that are "aligned with market" principles.
The call highlights growing pressure for a decisive turnaround in a sector whose prolonged crisis has dragged on economic growth.
