Former President Donald Trump says he takes a higher daily dose of aspirin than his doctors recommend. He made the statement in an interview with the Wall Street Journal.
Trump, 79, told the newspaper that this large dose causes him to bruise easily. His doctors have encouraged him to take less.
He declined their advice. Trump said he has been taking the same amount for 25 years and insists that his "health is perfect."
The interview followed recent questions about the former president's health.
