Chinese leader Xi Jinping has issued a fresh warning to the country's officials, stating there is "no place for the corrupt to hide." He emphasized there would be no pause in China's long-running anti-corruption campaign.
Speaking at a major political meeting in October, Xi told cadres they should "not harbour any illusions" about avoiding punishment. The comments were released in speech excerpts on Wednesday.
Xi instructed officials to maintain constant pressure against graft. He demanded strict investigation and punishment of all corruption cases.
The campaign has been a central policy of Xi's leadership. It has disciplined millions of officials over the past decade.
