Thailand has released 18 Cambodian prisoners of war. The move follows recent accusations of a truce violation along the two nations' shared border.
A temporary ceasefire remains in effect despite the allegations. In response to the reported breach, Cambodia has now banned all unauthorized drone flights over the border region. Officials state the ban is a security measure.
The released soldiers were captured during border clashes earlier this year. They have been returned to Cambodian authorities.
Both governments say they are committed to peaceful negotiations to resolve the ongoing border dispute.
