An Israeli military patrol entered a Syrian town on Monday, according to local reports.
The three-vehicle patrol advanced into Beer Ajam, a town in the southern Quneitra province. The area is near the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.
Syrian state media confirmed the incident but did not report any clashes or casualties. Israel has not commented.
This is the latest in a series of Israeli operations inside Syria. Israel rarely acknowledges individual actions. However, it states it will act to prevent its enemies, like Iran-backed forces, from gaining strength near its border.
