The head of a leading Labour think tank has accused Green Party co-leader Zack Polanski of offering voters unrealistic "unicorn" policies. Joe Dromey, general secretary of the Fabian Society, said Labour must challenge the "fantasy" solutions of the Greens. He specifically cited the idea that a wealth tax alone could fix the UK's public finances. In an interview, Dromey urged his party to confront what he called the "twin populisms" of Reform UK and the Greens. The Labour government has recently focused much of its criticism on Reform's Nigel Farage. Dromey leads the Fabian Society, which is the Labour Party's internal think tank.
