An Air Force staff sergeant and several strangers acted quickly to rescue a couple from a vehicle dangling over a steep drop-off.
The incident occurred when the couple's car spun off the road. It came to rest at the edge of a deep embankment, threatening to fall.
Staff Sgt. Augusto Silva was among the first on the scene. He and other "good Samaritans" — a term for people who help strangers in danger — worked together to secure the vehicle and pull the couple to safety.
No serious injuries were reported. The rescue was captured on video.
