Israel Bans Major Aid Groups from Gaza Over Staff Details

Israel says it will stop dozens of aid organizations from working in Gaza within 36 hours. The groups failed to meet a new rule requiring them to hand over personal details of their staff. The ban targets some of the world's largest aid agencies. These include Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), ActionAid, and the International Rescue Committee. Israeli officials state the organizations did not provide lists of their Palestinian and international employees. The new requirement is part of stricter controls on aid entering the territory. The decision comes as ten countries have issued warnings about extreme human suffering in Gaza. A major storm has recently worsened conditions for displaced families living in tents.
