All Eurostar train services through the Channel Tunnel have been suspended.
The company announced the sudden halt due to a major failure of the overhead power supply. This issue has stopped all traffic in the tunnel connecting London with continental Europe.
Eurostar had warned customers earlier on Saturday of significant disruptions. The problem now brings all travel between the UK and France, Belgium, and the Netherlands to a standstill.
