President Donald Trump issued a stark warning to Iran on Monday, stating its leaders "know the consequences" if they try to restart their nuclear weapons program.
The warning comes after a brief conflict between Israel and Iran in June. Trump did not specify what the consequences would be.
He made the remarks while hosting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Florida. The two leaders discussed regional security issues.
Iran has consistently denied seeking nuclear weapons. Its nuclear program was restricted by a 2015 international deal. The US withdrew from that agreement in 2018.
