Historic Aleppo Market Springs to Life with Heritage Festival

A festival to revive local traditions has opened in Aleppo's historic Khan al-Shouna market. The event, called "Aleppo Nights," is held with support from the Aleppo Governorate. The festival site is next to the famous Aleppo Citadel. Organizers aim to bring energy and cultural life back to the city's ancient center. Munir Al-Qasqas, Aleppo's Director of Antiquities and Museums, explained the goal. He said the festival seeks to restore Aleppo's rich cultural heritage. The event will showcase traditional crafts, food, and music.
