EU Grants €1.5 Million to Protect Vulnerable Children in Syria
The European Union (EU) will provide €1.5 million to support child-protection programs in Syria. The funding follows a meeting between Syria’s Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Hind Kabawat, and an EU delegation. The money will support basic needs in juvenile care centers. The EU is working in partnership with the humanitarian group Terre des Hommes (TDH) to deliver this aid. The two parties met to finalize the funding mechanisms and contractual frameworks for the programs. This agreement aims to strengthen essential services for vulnerable children across the country.
