A field hospital in central Syria has received a critical new anesthesia machine. The equipment will help strengthen surgical services in the war-affected region.
The Al-Qusayr Field Hospital in Homs province received the machine as a donation. It is part of a local aid campaign called "Fajr Al-Qusayr."
Hospital director Mohammad Idris stated the machine was donated by Dar Al-Zahraa Hospital. That hospital is located in the Lebanese city of Tyre.
The new device will allow for more complex and safer surgeries at the field facility.
