Syrian Government Honors Civil Defense Casualties in Idleb

The Syrian Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management held an official ceremony in Idleb on Saturday. The event honored the families of Syrian Civil Defense personnel who were killed or wounded. The ceremony took place at the Idleb Cultural Center. Officials stated it was a tribute to the sacrifices made by these individuals. Minister Raed al-Saleh led the proceedings. He expressed reverence for the memory of the casualties, according to the state news agency SANA. The Syrian Civil Defense, also known as the White Helmets, operates in rebel-held areas. They are rescue workers who respond to bombings after air raids.
