Ukraine’s main anti-corruption agency says state security forces physically prevented its officers from raiding the parliament building on Saturday.
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) stated it was attempting to conduct searches as part of a new investigation into graft. The bureau alleges that current members of parliament are implicated.
This confrontation occurs at a sensitive time for President Volodymyr Zelensky. He is currently engaged in U.S.-brokered peace talks and seeking stronger international support for Ukraine.
The incident highlights ongoing internal struggles against corruption, even during wartime.
