The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned a bombing at a mosque in the Syrian city of Homs.
In an official statement Friday, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced what it called a "terrorist" act. The ministry said it constantly rejects all forms of violence and terrorism.
Such acts aim to destabilize security and stability, the statement added. The explosion occurred during Friday prayers.
The UAE's comments were reported by Syria's state news agency, SANA. No further details about the attack were immediately provided.
