Perry Bamonte, a longtime guitarist and keyboardist for the iconic rock band The Cure, has died. He was 65.
The band announced his death on its official website. Bamonte, nicknamed "Teddy," passed away after a short illness during the Christmas period.
Bamonte first worked with The Cure as a roadie and guitar technician. He officially joined the group in 1990, following the release of their landmark album "Disintegration."
He remained a core member for over a decade, contributing to multiple albums and tours.
