Syria has condemned a deadly explosion at a mosque in the city of Homs as a "cowardly act." The blast killed at least eight people and injured 18 others.
The explosion struck the Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib Mosque. It is located in the Wadi al-Dhahab neighborhood.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack. Syrian state media reported the incident but provided few other details.
