A 61-year-old taxi driver was hospitalized in Hong Kong after her vehicle crashed directly into a school building on Thursday morning.
The incident occurred at Delia Memorial School (Hip Wo) in Kwun Tong. Police were alerted at 10:33 a.m. that the driver was injured and trapped inside her cab.
Firefighters were required to extract the woman from the vehicle. She had crashed through the school's back door.
A police spokesman confirmed the driver showed no signs of alcohol consumption during a breath test. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
Online footage of the incident has circulated widely.
