An Israeli drone attacked the al-Mantara Dam in Syria's Quneitra province on Wednesday evening. The drone dropped several explosive munitions near the dam structure.
According to a correspondent for Syria's state news agency (SANA), the strike aimed to prevent civilians from approaching the site. The reported target is in the northern countryside of the province.
In a separate action, Israeli forces also fired a flare toward the Tal area. No further details on casualties or damage were immediately available.
The Israeli military has not commented on the incident. Quneitra is located in southwestern Syria, near the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.
