MHP (Nationalist Movement Party) leader Devlet Bahçeli has described a recent plane crash as "deeply thought-provoking and exceedingly tragic."
He emphasized the timing of the incident. It occurred during a period of growing friendly dialogue between Turkey and Libya.
Bahçeli stated this phase is marked by close cooperation. He said both nations are working to mutually defend each other's rights and interests in a coordinated manner.
The comments follow a cargo plane crash in Iran. The flight was traveling from the United Arab Emirates to Uzbekistan and crashed near the Iran-Turkmenistan border.
