Search teams are working at the site where a jet carrying Libya's army chief crashed in Turkey. The aircraft went down near Ankara, the Turkish capital.
Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya confirmed the wreckage was found. The plane, a Falcon 50 business jet, was located approximately two kilometers south of Kesikkavak village.
The Libyan Armed Forces Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Mohamed al-Haddad, was on board. His condition and the status of other passengers are currently unknown.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. Turkish emergency services and military personnel are leading the recovery operation at the remote site.
