A 60 Minutes investigation into a brutal El Salvador mega-prison, pulled from U.S. television by CBS News leadership, has appeared online.
The nearly 14-minute segment examines the Centro de Confinamiento del Terrorismo (Cecot). CBS News editor-in-chief Bari Weiss removed it from the program's Sunday broadcast.
The report features footage of the prison and shows detainees arriving in shackles. It provides a detailed look at conditions inside the facility.
The video appeared online Monday after first airing on a Canadian television application. The Guardian has viewed the full segment.
