Six UK immigration officers face criminal charges, including money laundering, following an investigation into alleged thefts from migrants.
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) announced the charges on Tuesday. Five of the six officers are also charged with conspiracy to steal and misconduct in public office.
All six have been charged with money laundering offences. The case stems from an investigation into accusations that officers stole from individuals during immigration procedures.
