Vince Zampella, the co-creator of the blockbuster "Call of Duty" video game series, has died. He was 55.
The developer and gaming executive died in a car crash on Sunday, according to local broadcaster NBC4. The incident occurred on a scenic road north of Los Angeles.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) stated that the vehicle, a Ferrari, left the road for unknown reasons. It then hit a concrete barrier and caught fire.
The CHP confirmed two deaths in the crash but did not publicly name the victims. Next of kin have been notified.
