Russian Drones Cripple Ukrainian Railways, Hit Cities Overnight

Russian drone attacks struck multiple Ukrainian regions overnight, targeting civilian infrastructure and injuring several people. In the southern port of Odesa, drones damaged a power facility. This caused blackouts for some residents. In central Kryvyi Rih, an infrastructure site was also hit. The most disruptive attack occurred in Zhytomyr Oblast, west of Kyiv. There, drones damaged railway tracks and derailed a train locomotive. This incident has disrupted rail traffic in a key logistics region. Ukrainian air defenses reported destroying many of the attacking drones. However, the successful strikes highlight continued Russian efforts to target Ukraine's transportation and energy networks.
