AC Milan have agreed a loan deal for West Ham United striker Niclas Füllkrug. The agreement includes an option for the Italian club to buy the German international permanently at the end of the season. Füllkrug, 32, has struggled since his £27.5m move from Borussia Dortmund in 2024. His departure is intended to free up funds for West Ham manager Nuno Espírito Santo. The club is fighting relegation and wants to sign a new forward in the January transfer window. West Ham have identified a target: Wolverhampton Wanderers' Jørgen Strand Larsen. However, they are reluctant to meet Wolves' £40m valuation for the Norwegian striker. Wolves are currently bottom of the Premier League. Strand Larsen has scored only one league goal this season. West Ham, with a limited budget, consider the proposed package too expensive.
