Turkey's Supreme Court of Appeals has overturned the acquittals of two defendants in the high-profile murder case of Halil Falyalı.
The court reviewed the local court's decision to clear Faysal Söylemez and Metin Süs. It sent the case file back for a retrial. The lower court must now hold a new hearing.
This ruling means the two men are not formally convicted. However, they must face a new legal process. The lower court will re-examine the evidence against them.
The case continues.
