The UK government will send its first group of asylum seekers to a military barracks in East Sussex early next year.
According to information obtained by the Guardian, the Home Office plans to house people at the Crowborough army training camp within weeks.
Officials are currently finalizing the plan. It is part of the government's pledge to stop using hotels for asylum accommodation.
The site is expected to receive only male asylum seekers.
