Hong Kong Paraglider Crashes, Second Accident This Month

A 49-year-old man was rescued on Sunday after his paraglider spun out of control and crashed into trees in Hong Kong.
The accident occurred near Pyramid Hill in Ma On Shan. A hiker on the MacLehose Trail reported seeing the paraglider lose control and plunge into a wooded area. The hiker told police there was no movement from the pilot for several minutes.
Firefighters launched a rescue operation from Kak Hang Tun. They located the man and brought him to safety.
This is the second paragliding accident in Hong Kong this month. The condition of the rescued man has not been released.
