South Africa’s Elections Are Over—Now Comes the Real Test

South Africa has finished its local government elections. The vote is done. But the harder work is just beginning. The real challenge now is turning those votes into real change. Residents must stay involved. They must demand ethical governance and hold local officials responsible for their decisions. The vote was never the whole of freedom. It is only the starting point.
