Some documents from the Jeffrey Epstein case have disappeared from the U.S. Department of Justice's official website.
The files were part of a public release on Friday. They were available on a special DOJ website called the "Epstein Library."
By Saturday afternoon, an NPR news analysis found that some of those documents were no longer there. This happened as the DOJ continued to add more files to the same website.
The Justice Department has not yet explained why the specific documents were removed. The content of the missing files is not known.
