Indonesia’s National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) is urging stronger coordination among government ministries and other institutions to combat human trafficking linked to online scams.
The commission said better synergy is needed to prevent and address the growing problem, which often traps victims in forced criminal work.
Komnas HAM stressed that trafficking tied to online fraud operations is a human rights issue requiring a joint response from all relevant agencies.
