Russian President Vladimir Putin said his military is advancing in Ukraine. He warned that Russia will achieve all its goals if peace talks fail.
Putin made the statements during his yearly press conference on Friday. The event lasted over four hours.
He expressed confidence that Russian forces are improving their position on the battlefield. Putin stated that Moscow would continue its military campaign unless Ukraine accepts Russia's terms for negotiations.
The Russian leader did not specify what those terms are. Ukraine has repeatedly said it will not give up any territory seized by Russia.
