The United States wants Hungary's Viktor Orbán to become the next UN Secretary-General, according to sources cited by The Wall Street Journal. China and Russia are said to support the plan.
"Why Hungary's former prime minister is being mentioned is obvious," says researcher Isak Svensson. "They want someone who will not stand up to the great powers."
