Carrie Coon and Tracy Letts, a married couple and acclaimed actors, are starring together in a new Broadway production.
The play, titled "Bug," is a psychological thriller. It tells the story of two people whose lives spiral into paranoia and psychosis inside a dirty motel room. Paranoia is an extreme, irrational distrust of others.
This marks the first time Coon and Letts have performed on Broadway as co-stars. Letts is also the award-winning playwright who wrote "Bug."
The show is scheduled to begin performances next month. Theater critics describe the play as intense and unsettling, designed to get under the audience's skin.
