Zelensky, Rubio Discuss Starlink and Air Defense as Peace Talks Intensify

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he spoke with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Reuters reports. Their talks covered missiles designed to intercept ballistic missiles, early warning systems for Russian air attacks, and the situation around the satellite networks Starlink and Starshield. "I am grateful that he is ready to help and for his clear position," Zelensky wrote in a message on X on Tuesday. Zelensky is in Oslo on Tuesday and Wednesday for talks with several world leaders and U.S. special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. The goal is to reach peace proposals that can be presented to Russia to end the war in Ukraine.
