Azerbaijan has shipped 1,200 tons of gasoline to Armenia. This is the first known fuel delivery between the two nations in over 30 years.
The historic shipment was sent through Georgia, a neighboring country. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has publicly welcomed the development.
The two South Caucasus states have been in conflict since the collapse of the Soviet Union. They fought two wars over the Nagorno-Karabakh region.
This fuel transport follows a border agreement last year. It is seen as a significant step in their fragile peace process.
