Iran demands guarantees before new US talks

Iran's foreign minister said Tehran will only return to talks with the United States if Washington provides "credible guarantees" that it will not launch new attacks. He said Iran remains open to dialogue, but only on the basis of mutual respect. He also rejected any negotiations held under pressure.
