Israeli settlers launched coordinated attacks across the occupied West Bank on Friday, targeting Palestinians during the annual olive harvest and injuring a Washington Post photographer. Masked settlers armed with clubs and other weapons attacked people harvesting olives in multiple West Bank towns. Palestinian authorities recorded attacks in eight villages and reported at least 20 people injured. The settlers also burned cars and olive trees. Washington Post photographer Heidi Levine was beaten during the assaults. The attacks are part of a yearly pattern of violence aimed at disrupting the olive harvest, a critical source of income for Palestinian farmers.
