Ukraine has unveiled a new drone designed to rescue injured soldiers from the battlefield. The drone, called StarGate, was built by the Ukrainian company SkyFall.
A field demonstration showed the drone's ability to carry wounded soldiers away from combat zones. This kind of mission, known as medical evacuation or "medevac," normally requires ground vehicles or helicopters, which can be slow or put crews at risk.
SkyFall has not yet released details on how many soldiers the StarGate can carry or how far it can fly.
