Drone strikes near Romania: 'Sooner or later we will have European casualties'

Rescuers searched on Thursday for seven missing sailors after drones struck two chemical tankers near Romania's Black Sea coast. The attack set the ships on fire and raised new security concerns on a key shipping route used by Ukraine. Nicolae Stefanuta, a Romanian MEP and Co-Chair of the Group of the Greens, spoke to FRANCE 24's Europe editor Armen Georgian. He said the Danube delta region now faces a more intense threat from Russia than the Baltic States. "It is clear that sooner or later we will have European casualties," he warned.
