Kharkiv's Children Play, 40km From Russian Guns

Despite constant Russian air attacks, the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv is fighting to protect the childhood of its youngest residents. The city lies just 40 kilometres from the Russian border. It is a regular target for missiles and drones. Yet, local authorities and communities are focused on a different mission: providing children and teenagers with a semblance of normal life. This effort includes organizing safe educational activities, sports, and arts programs, often in fortified spaces. The goal is to create stability and routine amid the chaos of war.
