Turkish authorities raided an opposition television channel at dawn and appointed a state trustee to run it, Amnesty International said. The rights group called the move a direct attack on free speech in Turkey.
The channel is one of the main broadcasters linked to the country's main opposition. A trustee is a government-appointed manager who takes control of a company's operations.
